Impressively, Carlton Bolling is one of only six schools in the West Yorkshire region to be shortlisted this year, making the achievement even more special.

- Outstanding Ofsted Rating: In May 2023, Carlton Bolling retained its ‘Outstanding’ status under a more rigorous inspection framework, celebrating the school’s high aspirations, strong culture of respect, and exemplary student behaviour.
- Innovative Literacy Programme: Carlton Bolling was recently featured on ITVX for its ambitious literacy work. Since September, 141 teenagers have learned to read for the first time through focused phonics support and literacy partnerships with organisations such as Lexonik and Bedrock Learning.
- Recognition for Attendance and Behaviour: The school was praised in Schools Week for its high attendance and notably low suspension rates. This success is a direct result of tailored behaviour support, clear expectations, and a compassionate approach to pupil welfare.
