Carlton Bolling becomes first Bradford secondary school to achieve Healthy Minds Silver Award

Carlton Bolling is proud to have become the first secondary school in Bradford to achieve the Bradford Healthy Minds Charter Mark Silver Award.

The prestigious award recognises the school’s whole-school commitment to promoting positive mental health, wellbeing, inclusion and belonging for students, staff and families.

During the assessment, moderators praised Carlton Bolling’s outstanding leadership, strong curriculum, exceptional pupil voice and the high priority placed on staff wellbeing. They also recognised the school’s relational and restorative approach, extensive pastoral and mental health support, strong partnerships with families and community organisations, and its commitment to removing barriers so every young person can thrive.

Achieving the Silver Award is a significant milestone and reflects the collective efforts of students, staff, parents and the wider school community in creating an environment where wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do.
