Carlton Bolling School celebrated another fantastic year of sporting achievement at its annual Sports Awards Evening, with special guests from Bradford City AFC joining students to recognise their hard work, dedication and success.
Bradford City AFC players Zac Hadi and Josh Neufville attended the event through the support of the Bradford City FC Community Foundation, presenting awards and sharing in the celebrations as students were recognised for their achievements across a wide range of sports.
The evening highlighted another successful year for sport at Carlton Bolling, with students securing Bradford Schools titles in cricket, badminton and rounders. Alongside these competitive achievements, the event celebrated the commitment, resilience and teamwork shown by students throughout the year, both when representing the school and through their wider contribution to sport.
A special moment during the evening was the introduction of the new Empowerment and Inspiration Award for Year 11 girls. This award recognises students who have helped increase participation in sport, encouraged others to get involved and inspired their peers through their enthusiasm, leadership and positive attitude.
The visit from Zac Hadi and Josh Neufville added to the excitement of the evening, giving students the opportunity to celebrate their achievements alongside professional footballers. Carlton Bolling School would like to thank the Bradford City FC Community Foundation for organising the visit and helping to make the event such a memorable occasion.

Sport continues to play an important role in life at Carlton Bolling, providing students with opportunities to compete, develop new skills, build confidence and achieve their goals.
